ixland’s architectural installations create a new space for the dialogue between culture and society, allowing free exploration between ideas and technology. Space transcends its role as a mere backdrop for art, transforming into an active participant—the work itself.
ixland breaks free from conventional society and museum frameworks. At its core, installation art embodies the concept of space. By thoughtfully placing objects, it forges connections between creators and audiences, fostering engagement through observation, listening, and personal experience. This installation draws inspiration from lands, establishing a natural ecology centred around water. Through immersive soundscapes, it raises awareness of environmental sustainability while exploring the essence of self, desire, imagination, and spirit, inviting a closer connection to nature. Visitors can feel and hear their own breath amid the interplay of materials, sound, light, and visuals, experiencing a rich sensory exchange.
As global warming alters precipitation patterns and raises sea levels, there’s an urgent need to rethink sustainable development. This reflects a moral imperative to harmonise environmental, social, economic, and institutional goals. ixland, as a natural system, emerges from a deep reflection on sustainability.
